Jackson National Life Insurance Company® (“Jackson®”) is seeking candidates for the Strategic Support Associate (SSA) position. Strategic Support Associates are an integral part of Jackson’s Strategic Support Program which plays a key role in supporting our business units by providing on-demand staffing support in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner.
Strategic Support Associates will have the opportunity to utilize their skills by supporting business functions and/or projects within various business units. SSAs receive paid Jackson orientation and training time to learn various skills and functions within the business, all while gaining corporate experience within a leading financial services company.
In addition, Strategic Support Associates:
Must have the ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, not to exceed 26 hours per week
Create work schedules based on their hours of availability (shifts must be a minimum of 2 hours).
May participate in the 401k plan (based on eligibility requirements), community volunteer events and other Jackson sponsored events including the company picnic and holiday parties. This role is ineligible for benefits and paid time off under the terms of the company’s benefit policies and plans.
Have the ability to participate in the Launch! career development program specifically designed for building critical skills for long-term career success.

We are seeking candidates that have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Education or experience in the fields of accounting, finance, IT, math or other business related field is preferred.
The ability to learn and understand processing information.
The ability to read and carry out detailed written procedures.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to navigate and utilize multiple software and mainframe computer applications.
The ability to type 35 words per minute.
The ability to work independently, and in a team environment.
The ability to effectively manage the demands of a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
Basic knowledge of MS Windows environment and MS Office applications.
The ability to perform clerical/office duties including data entry skills.
The ability to work well in a professional environment.
Effective organizational and prioritization skills.
Problem solving skills.
